A life-long fitness enthusiast and athlete, Kelly began her foray into yoga during the spring of 1996 at Ball State University, where she took a semester long, Hatha Yoga class. From then on she was hooked, and continued her yoga practice regularly, while maintaining a dedicated personal fitness program including Pilates, Body Sculpting and Running until deciding to become a Certified Instructor herself. Completing her first certification in 2005, She began her fitness career as a Pilates Instructor at Miami University, in Oxford, OH. Kelly has also attained Sports Yoga and Aquatic Fitness Certifications and is currently pursuing her Personal Trainer certification. She embraces an “Honor your body and its limitations, while still challenging your body” mentality. Kelly has spent the last 2 years at The Sanctuary Fitness Center at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, teaching a variety of both Private and Group classes. Additionally, she has spent many hours doing private sessions and has worked with a variety of populations including men, women and children, and those with physical limitations. Kelly has an obvious passion for mind-body health and fitness, which is evident in the energy and charisma with which she presents each class. It is her personal goal to continually learn and grow in her own practice, while sharing her accumulated knowledge with others.
