Virginia Velasquez Cruz, R.Y.T (500) BIO Virginia is a Registered Yoga Therapy Instructor (500) through Yoga Alliance, The International Association of Yoga Therapists, associate member of Kripalu Yoga and Founder of YOGAEASE ™ and CORPORATE YOGAEASE™ “The feel better Yoga Workshops, Retreats and Yoga Classes. She is trained and certified through Integrative Yoga Therapy, a therapeutic approach to Yoga, Joseph LePage; and Yoga of the Heart, Nichala Joy Devi, a yogic approach to releasing stress for everyone with a specific focus on those with heart disease, those who have survived cancer and those seeking relief from chronic pain. Virginia’s Yoga experience includes teaching in various settings - from the dedicated Yoga studio, physical fitness center, corporate fitness center, hospital environment, to private yoga clients and groups. She offers a yearly Retreat and Workshop in Meditation, Stress Reduction, Healthy Hearts. Her Yoga teaching range extends into various populations: Yoga for Everyone, Yoga For Women, Pregnancy Yoga, Mommy and Me Yoga, a post-natal yoga class, Yoga for the Heart, Gentle Yoga and Family Yoga (including a bilingual class). Through her private business, Virginia offers a myriad of group and private Yoga opportunities. Virginia brings with her a unique sense of community service through Yoga and teaches a therapeutic form of Hatha Yoga. “My classes are designed to quiet the mind and body, allowing you to breathe deeply and relax – allowing stress to melt away - while experiencing all the wonderful health and body strengthening benefits of Yoga. Each Yoga class is a mini-relaxation retreat.” She combines valuable experience working within various environments, as a training facilitator, and as a fully trained and Registered Yoga Instructor. Through YOGAEASE and CORPORATE YOGAEASE™ she promotes her belief that our everyday life experiences can truly be less stressful and, therefore, more productive and fulfilling for everyone, in every phase of life. Additional Information: Upon receiving triple Baccalaureate degrees in English, Humanities and Communication Arts from Holy Names University, Virginia began a successful career in Television Broadcasting and Freelance Writing. She spent 10 years with two major market television stations and as a freelance writer before embarking in the mid 1990’s on her lifelong passion for health and wellness through the process of Yoga Therapy Instruction. She is a 15+ year practitioner of Yoga and maintains her daily personal Yoga practice. She is currently completing her Master in Education, including certification in Physical Fitness.
