Gayl Walder
When Gayl began practicing yoga in 1999, she felt a sense of “inner peace” that she had never experienced before. Everything in life seemed to have a new clearer meaning. Besides the wonderful way yoga makes you feel physically, Gayl was also experiencing the mind/body connection. There was a calmness that began to develop in all aspects of her life, and reflect upon all those around her.
Gayl is a Social worker who obtained her masters degree from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, and has been on a journey throughout her life of giving to those around her. When teaching she truly believes in helping her students to challenge themselves both mentally, physically, and at the same time encourages them to take what they learn on the mat and incorporate this in their everyday life. She obtained her certification through Eight Limbs Yoga and is certified through yoga Alliance. She feels very lucky to have learned from some of healing Power Yoga’s finest instructors, as well other nationally recognized instructors throughout the country. Gayl incorporates many different styles with an emphasis on vinyasa flow. She currently teaches adults, kids, teens, and Pre-natal yoga.
