About Rebekah
Rebekah grew up in California. She studied Design at the University of California-Davis and took full advantage of the free group fitness programs. She was introduced to group fitness in the form of Cardio Kickbox in 1995. She remembers walking home after a class feeling exhilarated and powerful – she was hooked. After university, Rebekah moved to Madison, Wisconsin where she continued to be involved in group fitness. In Madison she continued to kickbox, and began sparring with Karate instructors to train in her abilities. In 2005, Rebekah married and moved to Viroqua with her husband Eric. She began teaching group fitness classes for Vernon Memorial’s Wellness Center (Viroqua, WI) in late 2005. Rebekah and Eric moved to Sparta in July of 2008.
Rebekah currently teaches group fitness classes for the YMCA (Onalaska), Vernon Memorial Hospital (Viroqua), and Organic Valley (La Farge). She has experience teaching the following classes:

Step aerobics
Zumba
Group Strength Training
Core Strengthening
Cardio Mix (Fitness variety using hi/lo aerobics, step, cardio kickboxing, and interval formats. Strength training with light weights is also incorporated.)
Hi Lo Aerobics
FIT 101 (This beginner class caters to those just starting in a group exercise classes and those looking for a basic workout. Low-impact aerobics are combined with muscle conditioning, flexibility and relaxation to provide a gentle and effective workout)
Rebekah currently holds the following certifications:
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification through American Red Cross
NETA Group Exercise Instructor Certification
NETA Boot Camp Certified
