My personal relationship with exercise began in my early teens as I regularly worked with professional trainers to prepare myself to ultimately become a collegiate athlete. While at university, and in addition to my own rigorous training, I studied sports medicine and conducted research on aging that also included teaching fitness and dance classes at a local senior's center. That experience furthered my passion to bring exercise to people of all ages and to help make exercise a safe, rewarding, and sustainable practice for all. With my background in health and education, I enjoy teaching people what resistance training can do for their bodies. I have taught resistance training to elite athletes, to seniors at an assisted living facility, and to individuals with all ability levels in between. I believe that yoga is one of the best possible activities and regularly teach all levels in formats from vinyasa to restorative. And with my broad group fitness experience, I give my clients various avenues with which they can both build and maintain their cardiovascular health. My commitment as a fitness professional is noticeable to those around me. I love helping others enjoy healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
