I started doing Pilates as a compliment to running and became fascinated with the human body and the relationship between the mind and the body. I especially loved the idea that we need nothing more than our own bodies, our own minds, and a lot of brain energy to provide resistance and give ourselves an incredible workout. Both yoga and Mat Pilates demand a strong mind/body connection in order to reap the benefits and I love nothing more than being the facilitator of this connection for my students. The human body is an incredible machine and I plan to spend my life revealing the power of the human body to students all over the world.
