In 1995 I completed my 200 hour basic yoga certification at the kripalu center in Ma. I have been teaching continuously since then anywhere from 6 to 10 classes a week. I teach mostly multi- level classes.
Having taught in gyms for so long I often have people of different levels in one place. Safety is an importent concern of mine.
In 2007 I finished my 500 hour professional yoga certification,also at Kripalu.
Over the years I have studied different styles of yoga icluding Anusara with John Friend. I have learned much from that and do combine elements I have learned there into my teaching. That style is more precise about alignment.
I also teach yoga classes to seniors using both a chair and standing exercises.
