I played college tennis at Brigham Young University Hawaii Campus where I was ranked 19th in the nation and became an Academic All-American in 1987. After finishing college tennis I spent a couple some time on the pro tour qualifying for Wimbledon in 1987. In 1988 I became the Tennis Director and Head Tennis Pro at the Ridge Athletic Center in Provo, Utah. At the same time I was a sports rep for Pro-Kennex, Babalot, and Diadora. In 1993 I left the tennis industry and started my own company which I took public in 1998. In 2005 I co-founded an investment bank based in NYC. Since 2008 as my children are now starting to play competitive tennis I'm coaching them and teaching tennis part-time at the Ivory Ridge Tennis Center in Lehi, Utah. As a former nationally ranked tennis player I feel comfortable teaching advanced players but I'm also very experienced with beginners and everything in between. I stay in good shape (I'm six feet, 165 lbs) and I make sure whoever I teach not only learns something but has fun at the same time.
