I graduated from UW-River Falls, WI with a K-12 teaching degree in Physical Education, minors in coaching, health and adapted p.e. I taught High School and Middle School P.E. before starting a family. After my second child was born I became a certified Group Fitness Instructor while working part-time at an office job. I have over the past 14 years taught a variety of different formats. Currently I am teaching Spinning, Mat Pilates, Pilates Reformer semi-private classes, DrumsAlive, and SilverSneakers. My biggest passion is Pilates, having taught it now for 10 years. I also enjoy Spinning, Nordic Walking, weight lifting as a way to stay active and fit. I am married, have two teenagers and lead a very active lifestyle. I am a Master Gardener and volunteer maintaining the gardens at Freedom Park, a nature interpretive center in my hometown. My husband and I spend a lot of time growing a huge vegetable garden Spring through Fall, and I putter with my flower beds, as well.
