Philosophy:
“A strong person is a powerful person with limitless abilities and creativity. Setting realistic health and fitness goals with an appropriate plan can help each of us become our BEST SELF!â€
Clientele:
“My clients vary by age, life experience and personal goals. From young children and adolescents who are looking for agility and sport specific training to older adults that may have one or more pre-existing conditions like diabetes and arthritis; I have the knowledge and experience to train just about anyone. Due to my Pilates background and studies, I work with a number of individuals who have had back injuries such as a herniated disk; as well as many pre and post-natal moms whose core (abdominals and back) have been or will be compromised.â€
Experience:
“Over five years ago I became certified and began to teach and train clients. However, my fitness experience really began over 12 years ago when I started my freshman year of college. Upon graduating from high school, the extra-curricular activities that used to keep me active stopped and I began to spend several hours a day in the library studying. My body began to change; I began to gain weight and loose energy. My quest for an understanding of how to eat and exercise properly began. When I first started I made many mistakes when choosing exercises and activities, foods or lack there of. Out of these experiences I gained incredible knowledge and my philosophy was born. But most importantly I believe I have learned how to live a health centered life and strive to do so everyday.â€
Personal Information:
“I am an accomplished distance runner having raced in dozens of races from the 5K fun run to the half-marathon. I am always looking to challenge myself in new ways. During the summer of 2005 I plan to run one half-marathon per month, May through September (5) and plan to compete in the Chicago Marathon in October. I love playing golf and have seen tremendous improvement with my swing due to Pilates and core training.â€
