Carol Monette

 

Carol is a certified fitness instructor and 200-hour YTT yoga instructor with over 15 years of experience. She views the opportunity to teach classes in the beautiful Caribbean climate as a dream come true. Her goal is to guide participants in discovering their bodies and learning to move as they were naturally intended—with strength, mobility, and confidence. Whether through a flowing sequence, a powerful strength-based class, or deep, restorative stretches, her sessions are designed to calm the mind, reduce stress, and encourage self-awareness and personal growth. Participants can expect to sweat, be challenged, smile, and leave feeling just a little happier than when they arrived.

She completed her 200-hour Yoga Certification with the Marianne Wells Yoga School, an experience that brought balance, serenity, and calm to her life. Passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga, she believes true happiness can be found in embracing the yoga lifestyle. In addition to her yoga certification, she is also a certified personal trainer with clients both in-person at the gym and online.

Currently, she teaches over 10 classes a week—including fitness, Pilates, and yoga—at Oxygen Yoga and Fitness Rideau, where she also serves as the owner. Her passion for teaching and motivating others is evident in her ability to draw and retain a large, loyal client base. She genuinely loves what she does and brings that energy to every class she leads.
