I took my first yoga class around 1995 and I immediately felt the benefits. It not only made my body feel amazing, but it also quieted my mind as well. I felt better physically, mentally and emotionally.
I received my yoga certification through OM Yoga, taught by Cindy Lee and Gina Norman. The OM style of yoga is described as, “a juicy blend of flowing yoga asanas informed by precise attention to alignment and supported by the relaxed wakefulness of Buddhist mindfulness meditation. The practice of OM yoga is a lively dance of awakening that leads to a deeper understanding of yourself and a more personal connection with your world.”
I have also studied with many gifted teachers including Max Strom, Jane Austin and in April will receive my Relax and Renew restorative yoga teaching certificate with Judith Lasater.
