Jeff Ploen

My experience in the caribbean was from June-Dec. 2006. I was an inline skating instructor/member of the sports team at Club Med in Punta Cana, Dominican republic. During my time there, I led Power Walks, taught people how to inline skate, did Crazy Signs (dances) a couple times a day, and organized inline hockey games. I enjoyed working on the island and have decided I cannot stay away any longer.  I was very fortunate to find this website one day while searching the net. It seems that I can still return to the Caribbean for a working holiday of a reasonable 1-2 weeks. My experience in the tourism industry continued when I returned from Club Med, this time at a hotel in the Canadian Rockies - the Fairmont Banff Springs. I am currently working in the gym conducting classes in this beautiful but cold environment. I would be interested in a working holiday with my girlfriend, who is also a fitness instructor. She has also lived the island life working at a resort in St. Maarten. Her strengths are Step, Pilates, and Sculpting. Together we are a comprehensive team. Our knowledge and experience in the tourism industry, our ability to lead a mix of classes, and our enthusiasm for fitness make us excellent candidates to work at a resort.
