My passion for fitness and health started when I was thirteen years old and took up running. During my first jog I thought I would burn a hole right through my lungs, but something about it kept me going and pushing a little further each time. Within a month I was able to run for a full hour and loved the feeling of strength and power that it gave me.
I have been educating, motivating, and helping others achieve their fitness goals as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, yoga instructor since graduating with a kinesiology degree in 2001. I graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2011 and have been continuing to learn and grow as a nutritionist since. I now work as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Fitness Consultant in Ottawa, ON.
I live with my husband and two beautiful boys in the country on 50 acres of land just outside of Ottawa. I love to garden and spend a great deal of my time tending to the vegetables and herbs that I grow. I love to experiment with food, cooking and recipes that incorporate my fresh produce as well as some of the nutritious foods that we have made a part of our everyday lives.
My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and strength that they need to make long term changes in their lives. My holistic approach to health and wellness offers a unique perspective toward reaching your goals.
