Rachel Cobbs

 

Rachel Cobbs began using Pilates as a complement to her workouts

and also as a way to rehabilitate an injured shoulder. Her enthusiasm

grew rapidly as she began to see and feel the results of her training so

she decided to challenge herself more by becoming an instructor.

Rachel studied the Authentic Pilates Method at The Pilates-Studio of

Atlanta, one of 10 certifying centers in the world certifying in this

method. She received training from Janice Dulak, Juanita Lopez and

Master Teachers Sari Pace and Romana Kryzanowska. Rachel has

worked with a variety of clients and body types from professional

dancers and Professional Athletes players to those recovering and

rehabilitating injuries. Rachel’s classes emphasize her dedication to

conducting knowledgeable, safe, and challenging sessions and

maintaining the integrity of the Authentic Pilates Method by using the

pure principles of Joseph H. Pilates. She has also studied Ashtanga Yoga with Manju Jois with the Ashtanga Yoga Insitute
