Elizabeth Donnelly

Liz Donnelly is a true teacher at heart. In addition to teaching elementary school, she leads group exercise classes to create a memorable fitness experience for every participant. She believes that fitness is the pathway to healthy mind and body which leads to a more balanced life. Liz has been teaching fitness classes in the Madison area since 2002. Certifications include Yoga Alliance 200 RYT, PiYo, Turbo Kick, Body Pump, Body Step, Body Combat, Body Balance, Les Mills Strength Development, Les Mills Sprint, Les Mills Tone, Les Mills Core, Les Mills Shapes, Zumba,  Zumba Toning, Aqua Zumba, WERQ, Indoor Cycling and AFAA Group Exercise.

I have been teaching group fitness since 2000.  I was picked out as member at club to join their fitness staff in a Les Mills Body Step program training.  Since then I haven't stopped.  I am also a 4-year-old kindergarten teacher.  I love to travel during the holidays, spring break and during the summer, so when I met Kelly Bullard and she told me about the wonderful program you have it seemed like a perfect fit! 

 I have taught a variety of classes in addition to the ones mentioned above such as Dynamic Strength, Yoga, Pilates, Boot camp, etc.  I have worked in a variety of settings and have experience working with a variety of populations from young and athletic, to older, to bigger body types. 

I have worked in group fitness as well as corporate fitness settings. When I was staying at a resort in Mexico, the instructor become suddenly ill and I offered to step in and teach the Yoga and Pilates classes for the day.  I had a blast and hotel guests asked me when I was coming back!
