- Angie Green
My name is Angie Green and I have been in the fitness industry since 1993. I work full time as Associate Director, Fitness and Programming, at The University of Toledo Student Recreation Center in Ohio. I hold a Masters degree in Recreation and Fitness Administration and teach ten group exercise classes each week. I also teach academic courses in Exercise Leadership, Personal Training, and Group Fitness. I have trained and supervised over 300 students who desire to be personal trainers and group exercise instructors. In 2004 I received an award from the University for coordinating Midwest FitFest, a group exercise/personal training conference for college students in the Midwest region. In December 2007 I received a WOW award from the UT Division of Student Affairs and the Vice President to recognize my efforts to help students with eating and exercise disorders.
I also work as a National Presenter for Powder Blue Productions, the company that produces classes including Turbo Jam™/Turbo Kick™, PiYo™, Hip Hop Hustle™, and All-Star Instructor Training™. In 2006 I was named Presenter of the Year, and have appeared on QVC as well as exercise videos. I have also presented at international conferences such as The World Spinning and Sports Conference, Can-Fit Pro in Toronto, and the annual National Intramural Rec Sports Association Conference.
I love teaching group exercise. I work well with participants of all ages and fitness levels. I have also worked with Professioanl Coaches Association and traveled to Jamaica for a week to teach fitness classes, it was a wonderful experience!
