- Amanda Hynes
I began my love of fitness early in life, participating in a variety of sports including gymnastics, cheerleading and running. I continued as a competitive cross country runner throughout high school and college and also studied nutrition and exercise science. It was during college that I received my AFAA primary group fitness instructor certification. Following college, while working full time, I spent years as a part time personal trainer and part time group fitness instructor teaching a variety of classes including step, hi/lo, sculpting, pilates and yoga. I received my yoga teacher training through the North Carolina School of Yoga and am currently registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Physical Mind Institute. Today, my current position as a wellness coordinator allows me to share my passion for health and fitness with a wide variety of clients.
