Carolyn Lattimer

Coming from a background in dance and gymnastics, I grew to love the strength and flexibilty workouts in pilates and yoga as well as the opportunity to move with music in cardio classes, as an adult.  Wanting to share the benefits I receive from these fitness styles, I started teaching pilates in 2000, and yoga in 2009.  I currently teach private and group pilates mat classes, group yoga and yogalates, and substitute for a variety of group fitness classes (step, kickbox, spin, sculpt).  My clients/students range in age from 14 to mid 70's and range in ability from novice to advanced.  In addition to my work as a fitness instructor, I teach physical education, coach gymnastics, and co-chair the physical education and athletic department at an independent school in Brooklyn, NY. Movement and fitness have always been a joyful, integral part of my life and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of movement with both children and adults.  I look forward to bringing fun and fitness into the vacation experience.
