Ryan brings over 5 years of the experience in the fitness industry to Planet Fitness. He is nationally certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine, APEX Nutrition, Johnny G Spinning, and Cycle Reebok, and is constantly updating his knowledge on nutrition and exercise. He is a graduate of Stonehill College in Massachusetts with a degree in Human Biology with a focus in World Health Care. He believes strongly in concepts of functional training: using bands, balls, free-weights, and plyometric exercises in an attempt to condition the body in an un-stable environment. Ryan also has a demanding need for his and his clients’ workouts to be not only challenging but fun and creative as well. In addition to his interest in group training, Ryan is a seasoned athlete. He frequently participates in over 20 road races per year, several sprint triathlons, teaches spinning, and has become addicted to the extreme endurance racing circuit in Adventure Racing of all distances. Ryan is also an avid whitewater kayaker and has been running a whitewater rafting outfit for over 5 years. If not found here, he is sure to be traveling outside of the country. He is very approachable and looks forward to helping you achieve your goals.
