Mark Schminke

My name is Mark Schminke, and I’m a 23-year-old USPTA tennis professional! I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia where I earned a BA in both economics and music. I have been a teaching tennis professional for the past 6 years and currently teach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I spent 4 years as a tennis professional at Baltimore Country Club and also have experience as a High School Varsity Tennis Coach in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Although teaching tennis is an amazing profession, I am also very diversified with other hobbies such as jazz drumming, mountain biking, hiking and cooking. I’ll never pass up an opportunity for a jam session or a chance to prepare a gourmet meal! Since I’ve moved to the beach, I’ve become a novice surfer (I’m terrible) and really enjoy the outdoors.
