Pierre Petit

I am certified by the Cooper Institute as a Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer and group instructor.  I also have a certification by CrossFit inc. “CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide (Crossfit.com)”.  I’m certified control tactics instructor by the Protective Safety Systems which uses real world techniques and scenarios to control subjects or attackers with simple hand-to-hand methodologies.

My fitness lifestyle began 15 years ago when I joined the U.S. Army.  The physical fitness aspect was such a challenging and rewarding experience I fell in love with it.  I knew when I was done with the military; I would combine my love of fitness with my law enforcement career and provide a unique form of fitness training.  I started training as an instructor in the Chicago Police Academy fours years ago and combined my skills and experiences to help in building civilians to police officers.  This encompasses an extreme physical fitness regiment and nutritional awareness.  My specialties include weight loss/gain, body toning, shaping, strength and flexibility training, postural correction, kettle bell training, core strengthening, and self defense.
