Rosemary Lindle Ph.D. Exercise Physiologist I spent 15 years as a professional singer, dancer and choreographer before returning to school and completing my Ph.D. degree in exercise physiology. Currently, I am adjunct faculty at the University of Maryland (UMD), and a consultant to various, government, corporate, and non-profit agencies. I also conduct fitness instructor training and certification workshops for ACE, ACSM, IDEA and the YMCA of the USA. I still find time to teach a variety of fitness classes such as step, Pump-Fit (a group strength training program that I develop for Sport-FIT Clubs), Kick Boxing, Indoor Cycling, Yoga and Pilates. I also teach Ballroom and Latin Partner Dance. However, my favorite class is Zumba! I absolutely love teaching Zumba. Zumba makes exercising fun! It's a great way to get people "hooked" on exercise. "Ditch the workout...join the party!"
