Health and fitness has been a major aspect of my life since I was teen.  At the age of 15 I was overweight being somewhere around 5' 5" and 210lbs.  I loved to play hockey and was very good at it even for my size.  My high school coach told me I'd be a great player and would make the varsity team if I dropped my weight and became more interested in health and fitness.  That summer I was able to drop from 210 pounds down to 150, while losing another 10 during the coming fall.  I made the team and ever since then I have been reading and studying anything I can get my hands on regarding nutrition and exercise.

This lead me to choose my pursuit of a degree in Dietetics at the University of Wisconsin Stout.  I am currently finishing up my B.S. in Dietetics while also taking on graduate credits for the Masters Program of Food and Nutritional Sciences.  During my schooling I enjoyed helping others reach their nutrition and exercise goals so I decide to help others achieve what I have already accomplished.  I applied for the personal training position at UW Stout my Sophomore year and obtained the position.  Ever since then I have been helping numerous clients reach their goals and make their lives better.

I know what it takes to make major changes in you life and how hard it can be to not fall off track.  I believe that if it wasn't for my own experience in struggling with obesity I wouldn't be the person I am today.
