Fitness Bio: Felicia Holman, NSCA-CPT/NASM-CPT

With over 10 years teaching experience in the fitness industry, Felicia Holman has served a wide variety of client populations in both group exercise and personal training sessions. Although she has trained at a number of world class facilities (i.e. Holmes Place Chicago, PowerPlate Institute, Athletes Performance), and has studied under some of the world’s leading fitness pros (i.e. Mark Verstegen, Paul Chek, Juan Carlos Santana), Felicia’s true passion for fitness was born in a CardioBox class at Women’s Workout World.
After six months as a faithful student, Felicia then began teaching that very same CardioBox class! The success & popularity of her first ‘Group Ex’ class inspired Felicia to pursue a career in fitness. Shortly after she was hired with the elite Training department at Holmes Place Chicago in 2002, Felicia began acquiring credentials from such prestigious/accredited organizations as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT) and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) to augment her unique combination of knowledge, skills & abilities.
Aside from her talent for exercise prescription & programming for clients, Felicia is also regarded as a “trainer’s trainer”. As a Master Trainer for PowerPlate North America for 2 ½ years, she skillfully presented internationally CEC-accredited curriculum on a number of cutting edge training topics/modalities for clients, trainers and health practitioners alike.
Enabled by her genuine love of fitness, education and helping others, Felicia looks forward to another 10 years of leading the public and the fitness industry on the path to greater health.
