I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Personal Trainer (cPT) and Group Fitness Trainer (cGT).
I have excelled in Personal Health, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Personal Training courses at Eastern Connecticut State University. Having earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I understand the barriers to exercise, the constraints to being well, and am able to effectively motivate clients toward better health.
Before pursuing my Master's Degree, I was employed as a Corporate Wellness Coordinator for Northeast Utilities in Berlin, CT for over two years where I developed and implemented health-enhancement programs for over 9,000 employees and spouses. I am currently a full-time Graduate student at Central Connecticut State University.
Group fitness class formats include: Sculpt, circuit training, Upper & Lower Body training, Boot Camp, Core/Abs, and Bosu.
