I am a fitness professional/RN. I enjoy teaching all types of classes. I became an RN in 1983, and completed my BSN in 1989. I spent ten years in the operating room as a circulatling RN. I was promoted to Staff and Community Wellness Educator in 1993, and remained there for six years. With four children, I opted to leave the hospital setting so that I could spend more time caring for them. The fitness industry allowed me to be more flexible with my schedule, therefore, I maintained the program coordinator position at the fitness center. I have always had a passion for the wellness side of nursing, and enjoy being a role model for my children and the community at large.
