I started my career teaching step aerobics and swim lessons back in college.  It was no surprise to me, then, while working in sales at a prominent Silicon Valley health & fitness club, I started coaching swimming on the triathlon team.  This lead me to seeking my Personal Training Certification as well as my triathlon coaching certification. 

After having my first boy, I ventured into mama & baby bootcamp style classes...but found the timing difficult to accommodate as many moms as possible.  That is when I went after my cycling certification with Schwinn - figuring it would be a great way to stay in the fitness industry while having my family. 

During this time, I continued to coach a small group from both the club and in my neighborhood (just moms!) in triathlons ~ as well as teach cycle classes.

Lately, after the birth of 2nd son and not having a lot of time and finding my son not up for being dropped off at the day care...I developed a workout method at home.  I am currently working on bringing this method to both a local club I am teaching at now as well as to the world wide web to reach as many moms/busy professionals as possible with the idea of this: get an awesome workout in half the time with all the results!

The workout will combine cardio moves from sports drills, aerobic classes such as floor and kickboxing, as well as some posture/strengthening moves.  Overall, the focus is to create a website for busy moms that lets them know 10 mins, 20 mins a day is better than nothing.  Really this is all you need to reap the benefits, to ward off depression & extra pounds, as well as give them enough energy to keep up with the kids - while not wiping them out. 

Since I felt I was fitted more for group ex glasses, I decided to pursue these certifications and not continue with my personal training certification.
