Karl is a nationally certified group fitness and group cycle instructor with more than 17 years experience. Karl didn’t get the fitness drive until he was 18 and then took up running. From there he moved into the gym to train his upper body and started doing step aerobics. This was a surprise to his family since, as a child, he had severe asthma. With a new doctor’s supervision and a strong fitness regimen he developed an extreme love for cardio fitness. As his body has matured his focus has shifted into yoga as well as a heightened focus on core and functional training as a Personal Trainer. Still a runner, Karl is constantly training for that next race and next journey in life. He presently owns two boutique fitness clubs in the Austin, Texas area. He believes in listening to one’s own body and pushing it to new limits. Karl’s teaching style varies with type of class but is always focused on form, fun and strength of body, mind and spirit.
