Anders Bergkvist

My name is Anders Bergkvist and I am the Head Tennis Professional of at Allegheny Country Club (ACC) in Sewickley Pennsylvania, a town fifteen minutes outside of Pittsburgh.  I have managed the racquets program here since 2007.  I have been teaching tennis since I was 15 years old in my native Sweden, while also playing the sport at the highest level.  After receiving a scholarship to The George Washington University I decided to teach tennis full time at one of Washington DC's most prestigious Country Clubs (Columbia Country Club).  After almost 8 years at Columbia Country Club I decided to move to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to become the Head Tennis Professional at Allegheny.  I teach children as young as 5 years old and adults as old as 93.  I have experience running group clinics for both Men and Women and have supervised league and tournament play.  Tennis has been a very important part of my life for as long as I can remember.  I look forward to sharing my passion for this great sport with you.
