Dr. Amelie Biskup was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with nine brothers and sisters and numerous foster children. From an early age, Amelie observed her Mother cure ailments of the foster children such as ADHD, acne, behavioral problems, child obesity, mal-nourishment, etc. with diet, nutritional supplements, and exercise. Dr. Amelie's Mother was a self-taught nutritionist who inspired Amelie to pursue the field of holistic and preventative health care.
Amelie completed her undergraduate work at University of Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. Following graduation she moved to Dallas to attend Parker College of Chiropractic where she successfully obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Amelie is Nationally Board Certified in Chiropractic and Physical Therapy. Her focus is on disease and pain prevention, a wellness approach with emphasis in nutrition, exercise, detoxification, and overall well-being. She specializes in Maternity and Pediatric Chiropractic Care and is certified in the Webster Maternity Technique.
Dr. Amelie is a certified fitness instructor and cycle instructor. She strongly believes that fitness is a key component in whole health and wellness. She offers multiple classes within her office including Plyometrics, Stretch and Tone, and Maternity specialty classes for those expecting.
