Stacie M Humm is currently the Academic Program Coordinator for Physical Education and Director of Recreation & Wellness at Kent State University- Stark Campus. She is an ACSM Certified HFS and cPT as well as being certified through Spinning and AFAA for mutliple formats. Stacie is a Certification Specialist for AFAA's Personal Trainer and Primary Group Exercise Certifications as well as the GEAR training. She also teaches continuing education workshops in the areas of Anatomy & Kinesiology, Physiology, Cancer & Exercise, Resistance Training, Pre/Post Natal Exercise, Advanced Fitness Assessment and Stability Ball Training. Stacie received a BS in Health & Fitness Management along with an MS in Exercise Science from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Her research interests include exercise during pregnancy and postural and gait analysis. Stacie has been involved with Group Exercise since 1998. She enjoys working with a variety of groups including pregnant women, seniors and breast cancer survivors. She teaches a variety of classes including variations of BOSU, step, yoga, aqua exercise, sports conditioning, cardio kickboxing, cycling and weight training.
