Janice Coates

I am a  59 yr old female that has a heart & a passion for people to be physically fit so that they can better enjoy life. I have always been a pretty active person & after my daughter grew up & I no longer had the responsiblity of raising her, I decided I needed to figure out what was I going to do with the rest of my life! I worked retail for about 7 yrs but that was not my heart's desire. My passion was in exercise & helping people. I then went to work at one of the local YMCA's & knew that working in physical fitness was where I wanted to be.

I have certifications from AFAA for Personal Trainer & Primary Group Exercise, YMCA Group Ex Certification & a certification for SilverSneakers Classic. I am currently teaching Tai Chi, Cardio Dance Mix, SilverSneakers Classic, Empower Sculpt & Boot Camp. I also do personal training.

My husband & I also love to travel & think that it would be wonderful to be able to combine my love for travel along with my passion to help people!
