I am a practicing Registered Nurse with 9 months experience at Children's Hospital Boston, in Boston Massachusetts. I specialize in Pediatric Psychiatric Nursing. I work with a variety of ages from 2-19 with a mixture of psyciatric illnesses, behavioral problems, and emotional disturbances. Diagnoses I commonly work with include: mood disorders (bipolar disorder, depression, mania), psychosis nos, eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, failure to thrive,and eating disorders nos), agressive and assaultive behavioral disorders. Medical comorbidities also exhist with this patient population including diabetes, cancer diagnoses, GI diagnoses (chron's), electrolyte imbalances, etc. I also work perdiem as a Registered Nurse at the Winchester Hospital, in Winchester, Massachusetts. I have worked as an RN here for 4 months. My focus is general adult medical-oncology. I am able to work under pressure, and in a variety settings. I am a professional and take my work to heart.
