Reed Evans

Reed Evans was a professional dancer and actress. She danced on Broadway with The American Dance Machine and in Vienna, played Sheila in A Chorus Line. She was a choreographer of ski dance fashion television tours for 10 years performing on shows including The Today Show, Ray Philbin Show, and she choreographed the Sports Industry Association Fashion show in Las Vegas for 2 years. Reed also performed in television commercials, plays, and was a voice over talent dubbing and looping films. She began practicing Pilates 20 years ago while dancing professionally. Ten years ago, she trained in Pilates through the Physical/Mind Institute, beginning her career working for the Sports and Orthopedic Leaders Physical therapy clinic as part of their rehabilitation program. She moved to Chicago in 2003 and teachers Pilates at Body Evolve and at Home Stretch. She is a certified Massage Practitioner trained at the AMMA Institute in San Francisco, completed studies as a Structural Therapist at the Center for Psychophysical Healing in Chicago, and also works as a Sustainability Consultant in Chicago. Reed has taught Pilates classes at the College of Marin, Lifetime Fitness, and has taught numerous dance classes in Berlin at dance schools and dance fitness centers.
