Nina Rozenblad

I came to fitness after having playing sports in high school.  I missed the structure of organized sports, the competitive aspects, pushing further and achieving goals.  I discovered my mom's health and fitness magazines, books, and videos.  I absorbed all of this information, with her guidance, and I became hooked again on fitness.  I organized my calendar and set aside time every week to devote to my workouts.  Eventually, people at the gym were asking me for help!  I told people, "sure, ome meet me at this time on this day, and I can help you out."  Eventually, a manager at my gym said "Hey, you're really fit.  You know you can get paid for that, right?  You can become a Personal Trainer or Group Exercise Instructor."  he told me how, and the rest has been history!!!

Over the years, my interests have changed and I have pursued different aspects of fitness.  I teach classes, and I also take other instructor's classes so I can continue to be learn and be a student.

I believe by incorporating fitness into our everyday live's, we feel better about ourselves, our confidence get's a boost, and our entire outlook on the world looks better and more clear.  After a workout, we feel encouraged and can manage the tough times better.  There are so many benefits from incorportating physical activity into our daily routine.  Physical and mind/body benefits as well.

Over the years, I have seen the above statements actualized - not only in my own personal life, but also from the hundreds of people I have met and interact with in the classes that I instruct.  I am always inspired everyday by the people I teach group fitness classes to.

I think that fitness is one of the major avenue's one can take to get to know themselves better.  An avenue to get to our own individual source, and a way to help understand people around us as well.   I receive positive feedback from participants in my class.  They always thank me after class, clap, or wait until the room is empty to personally tell me how much they enjoyed the class.  I have been told that they always feel inspired to go further, or they were having a bad day and after taking my classes, their problems seem to fade away.  I have also been told that I am not a slefish instructor, but very giving and encouraging.

I am very humbled by this feedback, and only seek for people to see their strength, whether mental strength or physical strength.

In Health,

Nina L. Rozenblad
