Elizabeth Proffitt

Beth Proffitt – Exercise Physiologist/Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor Beth Proffitt is an eighteen-year veteran of the fitness industry and lectures locally and nationally on many topics related to exercise, fitness, and physiology. A certified personal trainer from the American Council on Exercise and the American College of Sports Medicine, she keeps current with the latest developments in the fields of exercise physiology and nutrition. She provides motivation and innovation to each of her workout routines. Beth earned a master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health from Miami University and completed her undergraduate work there as well (Business and Physical Education). Other certifications include: Pilates, Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, Rubberized Resistance Training, Stability Ball Training, and American Red Cross CPR Instructor. Beth comes to us with over a decade of experience in the corporate sector of the fitness industry. She served as the East Coast Regional Service Director for Bally Total Fitness and currently holds sole ownership of Progressive Fitness; an in-home based personal training company.
