I started teaching yoga in 2003 so I could pass on my love for the practice. I lead a Vinyasa flow class, which after 14 years of teaching, I have become very proficient at. Because of my experience in the health club setting, I am used to having people of all levels in my class every day. People who take my class from the first, feel as challenged as the new student, as I am able to give safe variations on most poses. I love teaching this format and I know it shows in my class.
I have also taught body works classes. These classes are one hour of weights/abs. With my extensive yoga back ground, I can combine safe weight classes with abs and stretching. As one of my students has said many times, " we worked every muscle except our eye lids".
Tred-n-shed is a 30 minute cardio routine done on a treadmill. It's very high energy and lots of fun. Belly/Butts/Thighs is exactly what it sounds like..work it. Do you want to work on the TRX, or Bosu Ball, how about pilates with weights, I can teach you that as well.
Recently I completed training in Yo-Chi and LOVE that format. It is a mix of Thai Chi and Yoga, two very easy to meld practices.
I have also taught BOOM for over 2 years now. BOOM is a class designed for the senior and fit, or sometimes not so fit, group. It has been one of the most rewarding and exciting classes I have the pleasure of leading.
