April Hix has been teaching Yoga, Pilates, group exercise and dance for over 10 years. April has her personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Her group exercise certification through AFAA. April has attended numerous workshops in an effort to improve upon her teaching skills and overall fitness knowledge. April can modify her class for beginner, intermediate to advanced participants. April has worked with a variety of students from early teen to seniors. April believes that a well rounded fitness routine is important for cardiovascular endurance, functional strength and flexibility.
