In
2008, at age 36 I set a major fitness goal, I decided to compete in a
fitness show, to achieve this goal I set up a very disciplined meal
plan, and a boot camp workout program, in a matter a 2 months I had
transformed my body, I feel very proud of myself for taking this
challenge and I know that if I could do it, anybody can too ! I placed
1st. in the Masters category for Swimming suit model at Wow Fame 2008
World championship in Toronto.
I am lucky and fortunate to be involved in the fitness industry
and be able to reach to all kinds of women who are looking into
improving their health, wellness and fitness, everybody has different
goals, for some it might be to have more energy to play with their
kids, or to look good for an event, or to improve their self-esteem,
whatever the reason, fitness should be a constant in everybody's life.
My philosophy on fitness is simple: Set goals...focus...and succeed ! I love the power that comes from discipline, challenge, and the fun of training. My fitness goals are to continue to expand my knowledge of healthy living, and to share my experience with others. My workout time is my "me time", I always feel great after a workout it keeps me focused towards my daily goals, I am also a better mom and a better wife. I love creating new challenging workouts all the time, I believe in keeping it fresh and fun so our bodies are always guessing what's coming up next.
I enjoy being with my family and friends, nothing can top a day at
the park with my husband and kids, ... I also enjoy taking some time by
myself to reenergize, celebrate my accomplishments and set new goals.
I discovered my new passion for Fitness when we moved to Canada about 5
years ago, I took a personal training certification and started working
at a gym in Calgary, and soon I realized how rewarding it was to help
others reach their fitness goals on a one-on-one basis... I loved it,
then I wanted to reach more people and that's when I decided to take on
certifications for group classes, I am currently teaching Body Combat,
Body Jam and Zumba classes, and run two sold out bootcamps, also I am extremely excited about teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga!!
