Katherine Harbord-Elkins

Hello,

My name is Katherine Harbord-Elkins and I'm really exciting to be filling out the information for your company. I've always wanted to travel and my life revolves around fitness therefore, I think this is really the perfect combination for me.

I am originally from El Salvador, Central America and I am fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English. I have been working out since I was a little girl doing everything from gymnastics to cheerleading to softball. As a teenager, I developed a love for running but was not able to participate in any kind of running sports so I decided to make and create my own fitness regimens. In creating my own fitness routines, I realized then how much I wanted to show other people how to find their own interest of health and the absolute powerful energy that comes along it. At that time, I was 17 years old and knew that working as a camp counselor for school age kids would allow me to remain in the atmosphere of what I loved the most.

After a couple of years at the YMCA, I became a gym regular and have been ever since. I finally received my Les Mills BODYPUMP Certification in 2008 and gained the rest of my certifications in the subsequent months. I have been attending Edison State College for a year and a half now in pursuit of being a Physical Therapy Assistant and have worked for almost two wonderful years with Orthopedica Associates of SWFL in Fort Myers and Cape Coral as the head technician to the Physical Therapist.

At this time, after a popular demand, I have returned to my first love and natural ability of teaching the most energetic fitness classes in my area! I specialize in preventing injuries, helping people develop better body mechanics for better posture and overall well being. I welcome you to call my current clients at Bobbie Noonan's Childcare in Fort Myers, FL and ask them about my attitude and exceptional customer service to their needs and fitness goals.

I will not be attending Edison State College for the Summer semester and would love an opportunity to work with Fit Bodies Inc.
