Originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Mike holds a degree in Recreation Management from Lake Superior State University where he played college tennis. Mike served as a member of the Wildwood professional staff from 1994-1999 before taking a position as head tennis professional of the Fox Cities Racquet Club in Appleton, Wisconsin. Mike returned to Wildwood in 2000 as assistant club manager and was promoted to Managing Professional in 2001. Mike is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club. He is very active in the tennis industry currently serving as USPTA Midwest Division President, USTA Northern Indiana Junior Davis Cup Coach, Recreation Coach Workshop Clinician, Quick Start Tennis Specialist, and USTA Schools Clinician. He was named 1998 USPTA Indiana Professional of the Year. Mike has worked Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the US Open in New York. Mike serves on committees for charity work in the Fort Wayne area including the The Vera Bradley Classic-fundraiser for breast cancer research and The Tennis Ball-fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
