My varied experience includes six years of collegiate coaching experience with tennis programs at NCAA Division I, II, and III levels, with four of the six years as a head coach, director of a indoor tennis facility that serviced the college tennis teams, students and staff, and the community, and extensive experience as a teaching professional at private racquet clubs in two states and at summer camps in Maine. My duties have encompassed managing all operations of a facility and collegiate tennis programs including scheduling and management of league play and tournaments, training of staff, budgeting, accounting for generated revenues, membership and public relations, and recruiting collegiate tennis players. I have taught private and group lessons to both adults and juniors, assisted with the formation of a tennis academy, conducted clinics, and assisted with an ATP exhibition, a USTA/MAS Championship Tournament and college championship tournaments. I rebuilt the men’s tennis program at Austin Peay State University into a competitive program that included a nationally ranked singles player. During my career, I have been knowledgeable of and adhered to regulations that governed the administration of programs and facilities. My education preparation includes two years as a Graduate Assistant at Northwest Missouri State University where I received a Masters in Education in Health and Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Administration and teacher education certification for the state of Missouri.
