Fitness includes exercise and a healthy eating. 

Exercise:  Fifteen year ago, I started my fitness journey as a runner.  I completed several half and full marathons.  To complement my running I trained with free weights and nautilus. I continued to challenge my body by participating in group classes.  Several years ago, I participated in yoga and pilates group fitness.  I thoroughly enjoyed my yoga and pilates class experieces and wanted to be able to bring the experience to others as well as continue to challenge myself with advanced classes and training.

The course has changed my approach to physical exercise.  I especially enjoyed yoga because of the body/ mind connection and the importance of strength, flexibility, and balance.  Additionally, I appreciated the naturalness of the yoga and pilates programs  - practice without tools and equipment.

Healthy Diet:  I believe in healthy eating for myself, friends and family.  Fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats and whole grains are part of my everyday diet.  It is important to me to eat a balanced diet and set a good example for generations to come.

In conclusion, fitness through healthy eating and exercise is a part of what I am.
