I have been teaching group exercise for 10 years mostly at the YMCA. I teach pilates, cycling, step/tone and yoga currently. I have taught aqua aerobics, swimming lessons, and was a lifeguard for several years. I am a personal trainer and I also teach individual and group nutrition classes. My full-time job is the clinical nutrition manager at a hospital in the outskirts of Houston.
My passion is to help others reach their fitness goals by combining healthful eating and physical activity. My unique background has allowed me to work with many people in doing just this. My experience in the hospital only reinforces my more broad goal of preventing chronic disease and promoting health in all populations.
Travelling is another great interest of mine. I know it can be easy to put your exercise routine on hold when you are away from home. I love the idea of motivating other travellers to keep up their fitness regimen during their vacations.
