Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains: April 1999-October 2001.

Clinic Manager:  Responsible for  P&L of $1 million.  Trained and supported six employees, and four volunteers.  Produced internal financial reports. Educated patients on medications supplied in the Health Center.  Conducted community outreach to create a stronger referral system and increase patient numbers.

 

·Successfully managed the busiest Planned Parenthood in Colorado

·Initiated teen clinic and transgender clinics, which were the first of its kind to Colorado.  Increased revenues by 8%

·Participated in a double blind NIH study that resulted in nation wide use of Emergency Contraception

 

Planned Parenthood of Mid- Missouri and Eastern Kansas: July 1996-July 1999

Regional Area Manager/Health Center Manager:  Developed community Partnerships to present and communicate Planned Parenthoods mission and services.  Trained and supervised 25 staff members and volunteers.  Produced daily, weekly, monthly and yearly financial reports. Responsible for maintaining a budget of $800K. Provided support to staff and volunteers during merger and reorganization to ensure job security and understanding of business decisions
