I received my 200-hour yoga certification in July 2007 from Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta, GA. I then received my advanced 500-hour level certification in yoga in June 2008 also from Peachtree Yoga. Peachtree Yoga is a registered school with the Yoga Alliance. I then registered myself at the RYT-500 level with the Yoga Alliance. I recently received my ERYT-500 designation with the Yoga Alliance. I currently am on the teaching staff of the Yoga Teacher Training and Certification Course at Peachtree Yoga, and teach 3 classes per week at the studio. I used to teach private classes twice per week with an 80 year old man. Currently, my students range in age from about 20 up to about 80 years old or so. Because of this, I teach a variety of class levels, ranging from gentle to advanced and power flow. In addition to teaching yoga, I am also the business manager of Peachtree Yoga. My responsibilities include marketing, advertising, hiring/firing, payroll, cash reconciliation and technological developments. I used to teach at Crunch Gym in Atlanta, GA. I taught 2 classes per week from August 2008 until the gym closed down. I taught classes ranging from beginner to advanced yoga, as well as other types of yoga including blindfolded yoga and yoga to rock n' roll music. I have also taken workshops in Yoga Anatomy, Yoga for Kids, Christian Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Pre-Natal Yoga, among many others. I love developing my knowledge of yoga and sharing it with others.
