I have been teaching Yoga for 9 years, both at a fitness Center/YMCA (9 years) and private studio(2 years.) I teach Traditional Hatha Style classes, focusing on postures, alignment, breath, meditation and fundamental yoga philosophy. Classes include challenging Vinyasa/flowing classes, Moderate levels, Gentle, Restorative and Meditation classes. Certification 200 hours class/Kripalu Style. Training also includes Ashtanga, Vinyasa, TriYoga, and Restorative Styles. Areas of study also include Healing Touch/Reiki, massage and meditation. BAAS in Psychology and Communication and Master's Degree in Interpersonal/Conflict Management Communication. In my yoga classes, I strive for an atmosphere where people can feel safe, and have fun, as well as challenge themselves physically and emotionally through the yoga practice. I love to practice, read about and teach yoga-I find it is such an intelligent way to grow, learn, be healthy.
