William Bartlett

I attended the University of WI-La Crosse and received a BS in Exercise Physiology. I performed an internship in San Diego, CA working at General Dynamics Corporate Fitness Centers as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. And I also worked morning shift as the asst. manager of the Kona Kai club. In both instances I did a lot of personal training and developed me affinity to work with clients to help them reach their goals. I then moved up to the San Francisco area to manage a $25million project for Pacific Bell to build 10 corporate fitness centers throughout CA. On this job I attended several big trade shows and me two equipment reps that evenutally became friends. I saw the equipment sales of the industry as one where I could meet a lot of people and continue my education. I moved back to Chicago and managed a 7 state territory for Star Trac Fitness. Two years later I moved to CYBEX and managed two states for 7 years. After the merger of CYBEX/Trotter I went to work for Budy Body and managed the East Coast (15reps). After Busy Body filed Chapter 11 I took a 2 year hiatus from Fitness and moved GA and worked in medical diagnostics for Abbott Labs. We moved back to Chicago and returned to the fitness industry working for FreeMotion Fitness for 3 years then came back to Star Trac and now just landed at Power Plate as Director of Fitness Sales for North America. Over the course of the last 16 years while selling I have been exposed to someof the best educators out there as well as have kept up on continuing education and managed to keep several personal training clients. My passion is working with people and helping realize their goals are attainable with hard work, dedication and persistence. My group exercise experience has ranged from teaching step to kickboxing and finally teaching group cycling. My passion for triathlons and amount of time I spend riding the road comes through in the type of class I teach.
