Christina Lazdins

I have been working in the fitness industry since 1998 and now have extensive experience in teaching classes and working with people in the fitness industry, teaching classes in aquatics, cycling or spinning, yoga and exercise. I also work one on one as personal trainer as well.  Continue to develop my skills and knowledge about the human body and enjoy adding more to my repertoire to be better able to  help people get fit, stay fit and healthy. Enjoy making the work outs fun as well as rewarding. Creating personal relationships with each one.

At Merritt Health Clubs I specialized in Aquatic Personal Training but also taught classes.

Worked for Columbia Association in Columbia MD for 5 years as aquatic instructor and spinning instructor. When moving I also moved to work for Health Unlimited in Mt. Airy MD where I've taught classes and done Aquatic Personal training. Did leave CA for length of travel. When meeting Kathy Gilbert from Merritt Athletic Clubs I was offered to work for them and develop the Aquatic Personal training program. Did this for about one year and have since continued working for Health Unlimited. Have recently started working for Wellnet teaching Yoga and Zumba classes. Am also developing relationships with other fitness clubs and businesses. Am developing more of my own business as PT and Yoga instructor and leading Weightloss groups.

This is a fantastic chance to travel and do what I love. I was born in Sweden and speak it fluently. I also lived in France, Paris for a year where I studied the language and speak French. Lived for a while in Italy and Yugoslavia, England for a year and did travel tours while living in Europe for groups. I speak Swedish, French, German, some Italian and have studied Chinese.  My other work has been to teach classes in the Swedish language and worked with many adults over the years. This also included translations from English to Swedish and vice versa.

I am a parent of three children however the youngest is now 13. The older are College age.
